CASA Promotes D’Arcy Crocker
LANCASTER, PA (January 26, 2016) – Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lancaster County is pleased to announce the promotion of D’Arcy Crocker to the position of Program Director.
Ms. Crocker began at CASA as a volunteer advocate in the fall of 2010. She was hired as a Volunteer Manager in 2013. As the Program Director, she will lead a staff of three Volunteer Managers. Volunteer Managers provide support and guidance for Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Ms. Crocker graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in U.S. History. Originally from Maryland, she moved to Lancaster County in 1993.
Ms. Crocker states, “I am committed to the organization’s mission and vision, it’s about working to achieve fairness for the children CASAs support.”
Jessica Laspino, Executive Director of CASA of Lancaster County says, “We are excited by Ms. Crocker’s acceptance of this promotion. She brings incredible perspective to the organization because of her experience as a CASA and as a Volunteer Manager; she is a tremendous asset to our team.”
CASA of Lancaster County provides court appointed volunteer advocacy for children of abuse and neglect in the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and permanent home. CASA volunteers believe that growing up in a safe home is a fundamental human right.
