Growing Program Prompts Move for CASA
LANCASTER, PA (01, 31, 2019) – Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lancaster County has moved to The Offices at Marion Court in downtown Lancaster. We spent the previous eight years in a building around the corner from our new location -- our old office served us well, and we made great memories there, but we are very excited about our new space.
It has been an exhausting move, but we look at this new location as the start of another chapter in our history. We're still working on getting settled in and adding artwork to the walls, but we're incredibly excited to be in the new space.
Thanks for everyone's support through the years and with the move. Also, we want to give a special shout out to our movers, Brody Moving Company, who did a phenomenal job and never lost their sense of humor, even after 12 hours of moving!
CASA’s growth is ongoing because of the increasing number of children entering Lancaster County’s foster care system due to abuse and neglect. With a CASA, children spend less time in foster care and receive more help while in the system.
