Case Supervisor - CLOSED March 19, 2010

The Case Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities of volunteer advocates and reports to the Executive Director.

Primary responsibilities include:
- recruiting potential volunteer advocates

- assisting with the screening of potential volunteer advocates

- participating in community awareness events

- training volunteer advocates using a provided curriculum

- assisting with on-going training of volunteer advocates

- case management and supervision of volunteer advocates

-attending court hearings when necessary

-developing working relationships with legal and social service professionals

- maintaining case and volunteer records

Additional Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's in Social Work or similar field, strong time management skills, the ability to multi-task, experience working with or overseeing volunteers, strong leadership skills, and good written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in child welfare is a plus.
